About Us

A LEGO User Group (LUG) is a fan community officially recognized by the LEGO Ambassador Network. There are hundreds of LUGs worldwide bringing local builders together. ParLUGment is the official hub in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.

Monthly Gatherings

Members meet in person every month to connect and inspire one another. The vibe is relaxed, inclusive, and undeniably fun.

Public Shows: From Local to Epic

We participate in a dozen events each year, ranging from local markets and festivals to museum exhibits and massive conventions. While participation isn’t mandatory, these shows are where we see the most smiles!

Community Shows

We often host booths at local events, where we display builds of all scales and connect with muggles in our community. For new members, these events are great low-pressure opportunities to experience their first public shows.

LEGO Conventions

Breath-taking highlights of our calendar, these LEGO-only events are where our members bring their most ambitious, large-scale creations to life in a truly epic display of creativity.

Origins

Our three founding members, Tim Strutt, Ka-On Lee and Jude Beaudin created the club on Mar 23, 2001. Soon after they were doing LEGO exhibits in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa.

Want to Add Your Piece?

We are always looking for new builders to join our ranks. Whether you’re a lifelong builder, returning from a “Dark Age,” or just recently discovered the joy of the click, there’s a spot on the baseplate for you.
