How long have you been an AFOL (adult fan of LEGO):
~14 yrs
How did your interest in the hobby develop:
My wife gave me the Indiana Jones Temple Escape for my 40th birthday, and it rekindled my interest right then and there!
How did you find ParLUGment:
Saw their Train layout at a train show at Algonquin College.
What is your favourite theme:
It’s tough to pick a favourite; I have all the Indiana Jones Minifigs, and several mint sets. I have a lot of Technic parts, and enjoy building GBC, but recently have started down the LEGO TRAIN path.
What is your favourite aspect of the hobby:
Creativity. I can build whatever inspires me, whenever the mood hits me.
What is your proudest accomplishment within the hobby:
I’ve been the LUG President for several years now, and I like to think I’ve helped grow the club in a positive way. I’m proud that we’ve managed to keep the club running through the last 2 years of COVID (mostly via Zoom Meetings), and emerge on the other side with people still participating, and picking up pretty much where we left off, back to in person meetings, and putting on shows at local events again.
